The benefits of early childhood education
Have you seen the Education Week article about Arthur Reynolds' research? Check out Long-Term Economic Payoff Seen From Early-Childhood Education. Spending on children now to save so many future costs sounds good to me.
The article doesn't mention how even Art Rolnick, the vice president for research at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve is convinced. The College's Center for Early Education and Development and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis teamed up to enhance multidisciplinary research and promote policy discussions on early childhood development.
